Sea Mauville had wild Pokemon that Elise would be more than happy to do protection for. It was the job of a ranger to take care of Pokemon and Ollie was right by her to help do that. Luckily, she had a good Pokemon to do the job of treating the wild Pokemon’s injuries when they would come across them: a friend from the Dyna Tree in Ever Grande that had healing powers.[break][break]

“I will try my best to treat injured Pokemon.” Elise says to the Head Ranger. She has used the medical skills she learned for humans from Colonel Sullivan’s platoon for healing Pokemon. “But I am sure that you’ve done it before, Ollie.” [break][break]

Charles the Calyrex makes sure that he looks out for anything in reconnaissance.

[break][break] Not far away from the First Aid tent where many civilians and volunteers gathered, Ollie and Elise soon found their hands full. In particular, flapping in his lap was an injured Wingull who looked like it had a broken wing.

With Ollie saying that he wanted to see her do her medical skill, she does feel a bit of confidence in showing the Head Ranger how she does it to Pokemon. It was a while since they spent some official time together as co-workers where the work really began. Burger dates with Ollie were the best when he helped her choose which burgers to eat. [break][break]

Around the medical tent, the ambassador sees the many civilians that were in the tent. She looks over to her friend who is caring for a Wingull that had an injured wing. “I can do that, yes.” An answer came to the Head Ranger and she goes over to check on the supply pack near the tent.[break][break]

The shard legendary comes too when Elise begins to check the supplies for medical aid, mostly the first aid kits and the medical equipment used to treat both people and Pokemon. She takes the medical equipment used to treat Pokemon and brings them back to Ollie.[break][break]

Ollie watches after Elise Calcifet as she disappears and then returns, emerald eyes falling instead upon the CALYREX that accompanies her. It's one of the first few times that he'd seen it up close — well, except for the time that he'd shared stories with the other under a Dynatree.

[break][break] It's still surreal to him that such an important pokemon chose one of his Rangers to bond with — but it brings him an immense amount of pride to know that it was Elise, someone who's development in the Rangers that he'd personally underseen.

[break][break] "Yeah," Ollie said with a nod. "There should be something in their to help mend it's wing. A potion, or full heal, or something like that."

[break][break] To the Winggull under his carefull grip, Ollie pressed his fingers against it's feathers and soothed it gently.

The League’s Calyrex probably had a reason that out of the people that attended his rebirth in the Dyna Tree that day, the hare king chose her to be the handler of his shard. Tensions in the war made her worry much for the state of the city of Rustboro which was now her territory to help govern along with the mayor. She gets an answer from the Head Ranger that anything from the local Pokemarts like a Potion, Full Heal, or anything else could help with the Wingull.[break][break]

“Alright, I’ll help the little one out.” Out of the medical equipment that she chose, Elise takes the bottle of a Potion to help the wild Wingull in Ollie’s careful grip. “I promise it’ll not hurt and you’ll feel all better.” A spray from the Potion bottle washes over the Wingull while the legendary shard watches.[break][break]

“Make sure that the Wingull’s feeling better too, Charles.” She’d look over to the Calyrex and he gives the wild Wingull a warm Heal Pulse accompanied by the green glow of his bright crown.

After ollie morales's guidance, Elise Calcifet's care, and the CALYREX's additional support, the Wingull was quick to heal. The broken wing mended in the blink of an eye and the pokemon took the air, flapping away through clear-blue skies as if it had not been injured to begin with.

[break][break] Ollie sighs with relief and pushed himself to his feet, grinning at the other.

[break][break] "Great job, Elise. I knew you could do it!"

[break][break] He looked around at the immediate area, watching all the volunteers shuffle about and carry more injured pokemon over to the First Aid tent. Ollie led the way back to the tent too, eager to catch up on some refreshments after such a busy day.

“Thank you, Ollie.” A warm smile comes from the ambassador when he praises her for doing a good job in making sure the Wingull is all better. Her eyes watch the Wingull fly up into the clear blue sky, almost as if nothing bad had happened to the wing of the sea bird. It possibly gives her and Ollie some thanks too and she’s happy to help wild Pokemon along with the older ranger.[break][break]

She follows Ollie’s lead into the tent for a break with refreshments. The newly appointed Ranger Captain of Rustboro helps with sorting out the logistics of the operation with a pen and paper clipped onto a clipboard with writing down notes onto it.[break][break]

Only when Ollie asks her a question does the ambassador pause to answer and look up to the Head Ranger. “I’ve been doing well. The new job is very comfortable for me since it allows me to learn how to govern and show the Dyna Tree’s Calyrex of my leadership qualities.” With each moment that the shard sees, the psychic link ensures that the real Calyrex will be watching her too.

Elise Calcifet heads right to do the paperwork, which isn't a surprise considering all that she must do as Galar's Ambassador, but it's a relief for Ollie who is more than happy to push that kind of work onto someone else. He hates paperwork, after all, even though he knows intuitively how important it is.

[break][break] "Don't you dare put my name down as Oliver," he scolds gently, though with the way his eyes sparkle with mirth, it's easy to tell that he's just teasing.

[break][break] He leans back on his heels, pushing his thumbs into his pockets.

[break][break] "Aw, that's good to hear. Are you juggling the work you do here and in Galar, okay? I don't want you to burn out, Elly."

[break][break] Of course, if there was anyone who could do it all, it would certainly be here. He could already see the positive influence that "Charles" was having on her. She was way more confidant and self-assured than she used to be.

“I’m not going to, don’t worry.” A little laugh came from the Galarian royal when she signs off her name and Ollie’s, putting his name down as just Ollie instead of Oliver. Balancing both positions of being the Galarian Ambassador and Ranger Captain of Rustboro City would normally be hard for the average person, but she’s able to due to the embassy being in close proximity to where she’ll be working closely with the gym leader of the city too.[break][break]

When Ollie expresses that he’s worried that she’ll burn out when juggling both the work she had done here and in Galar, she’d understand that. The burden of being a leader figure for her country and the city she does administrative work for is a lot to handle for one person.[break][break]

“I’m juggling it okay and I know you’re worried I may burn out. It’s fine, I can handle it.” [break][break]

She directs the floating Calyrex shard to do his share of the work. “I’d like you to survey and bring me any information on any other wild Pokemon to treat and rescue.”[break][break]

And with that, the King of Bountiful Harvests nods and leaves the tent in doing reconnaissance work.
